Disaster Response Team

Covid-19 Response Activities

  • Our team offers relief to the victims of a disaster by providing emergency assistance and temporary aid to ensure that the victims have the basic necessities such as food, clothing, housing, transportation, and medical assistance, as well as  psychological counselling.
  • Our aim is to respond immediately to communities impacted by the natural disasters by engaging volunteers, youth and local communities to help the affected families because the most basic needs become both scarce and dire in the event of an emergency.
  • COVID-19 has wrought much distress in India. While the lockdown has helped to curb the spread of the virus to some extent, it has also turned out to be a bane for many. The poor migrant workers and daily labourers with no means of livelihood in cities have returned to their villages without hope.
  • As part of the COVID-19 outbreak response, our disaster response team launched a humanitarian aid to support the communities and fight against COVID-19.
  • Distributed Essential Food items and Preventive Kits for the daily workers and poor people for about 2000 households.
  • Hygiene kits to the police personnel to keep them safe while they perform their duties.
  • Distributed ration for the poor migrant workers of our region for about 1000 families.
  • Conducted COVID–19 awareness camps.
